Some great websites for Promethean, but will look great on just about any device:

Here is a very broad website that has content, games, videos, and activities for you and your children that deal with cyber-bullying, internet safety, etc etc. http://www.netsmartzkids.org/
Now that we have so many Pro Boards in the building, let’s find some fun and creative ways to use them.
- To find good websites that are very Promethean friendly, go to google.com and under advanced search, choose ‘Shockwave Flash’ for file type.
- Teachertoast.com has podcasts about Promethean
- Colorschemedesigner.com useful to find good color combination for flipcharts
- Prometheanplanet.com has a flipchart search engine where you can find flipcharts that are ready for you to use. You can also make changes to them to fit your needs. You will need to have a Prometheanplanet.com account (free).
Here is my attempt to keep the St. Joseph’s staff (and anyone else who might be remotely interested) informed on some useful technology tidbits. These could be anything from how to force quit an annoying application that won’t go away, to how to find a useful Promethean flipchart. Stay tuned!
